As a UGent spin-off company, qTUS offers final year students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Ghent University the opportunity to follow the qTUS lung ultrasound course at a 50% discount. The course consists of online modules, practical training sessions and a certification test. Upon graduation, participants will receive a qTUS certificate with their diagnostic performance. This certificate is identical to the one delivered to graduated veterinarians. Course price for UGent students: €375 (Standard price is €750) When all participants have registered, we will contact you to provide access to the online learning environment, schedule the practical training sessions and take care of the payment. Please register before February 14th.

What can you expect:

Access to the online lessons on image recognition, the qTUS technique and pitfalls. After application, you will get 4-6 weeks time to complete the online modules in order to fully prepare you for the practical sessons. (Februari- half March)

Two on-farm practical training sessions in small groups with other students and experienced qTUS operators. (March - April)

Certification moment to evaluate your diagnostic performance. (end of April)

After the course: keep in touch with the trainers and other members of the qTUS community, and stay up to date with the latest insights on lung ultrasound.
